Module Dimensions:
Depending on total deck dimensions selected, standard aluminum deck frame modules are designed as 4'x5', 4'x6' and 4'x8' sections. Deck panels are designed as 2'x5', 2'x6', and 2'x8' sections.

Module Weight:
Aluminum frame modules are on average 50lbs. The deck surface panels will range from 35lbs to 50lbs depending on the type of surface (cedar is lighter than composite) and the size of the panel.

Deck Height:
All decks, steps and landings feature a 7" perimeter height (rise) and are adjustable up to an additional 4" by use of the levelling feet.

Frame Material:
6063-T5 aluminum extrusions with a black powder coat finish

Weight Capacity:
Each individual blok is rated for 1,600lbs live load (10/40lbs/sqft DL/LL)

Fire Rating:
Class A Flame Spread Rating, naturally non-flammable material

Assembly

Step 1: Position the Aluminum Deck Frame Modules (Estimated Time: 30 Minutes)
• Begin by laying out all aluminum deck frame modules in your desired location.
• Ensure the layout is correct before proceeding to the next step.
• Connect the frames using blokDEK®’s proprietary no-tool connection system—simply align the frames and snap them together securely.

Step 2: Level the Deck Frame Assembly (Estimated Time: 15 Minutes)
• Once the frames are connected, use the adjustable leveling system to ensure the deck is stable and even.
• Adjust the leveling feet as needed for uneven ground to provide a solid foundation.
• Double-check for proper alignment before installing the deck boards.

Step 3: Install the Deck Board Panels (Estimated Time: 15 Minutes)
• Place the deck board panels on top of the frame assembly, ensuring they are aligned properly.
• Step firmly on each panel to snap it securely into place.
• Continue this process until all deck panels are installed and seated properly.

Step 4: Connect Deck Lighting (If Applicable)
• If your deck includes integrated lighting, connect the light wiring before installing the deck boards.
• Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly routed.

Shipping & Delivery

This product is shipped on a pallet via freight and will require a scheduled delivery time that is arranged between the carrier and the customer (you!). You are required to be present at the pre-arranged delivery time to sign for the delivery and move your package into your desired location. This delivery method is curbside drop-off.

Shipments should arrive wrapped, strapped, and in good condition. Customers should check the packing slip and condition of the package prior to signing off on it. If there are any discrepancies, they should be noted before accepting the shipment.

All shipping rate offers apply to online store only at pricing listed on website. blokDEK® offers shipping to residential or commercial street addresses anywhere within the 10 Canadian provinces (excludes territories) and 48 contiguous United States (every state in the US, except Alaska and Hawaii). For US customers, your purchase price includes duty, tariffs or brokerage fees for entry to the United States (our products are shipped as DDP / Delivered Duty Paid).

Returns and exchanges are accepted on blokDEK® standard products (products available for purchase through our website) in new or like new condition within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Returns and exchanges WILL NOT BE accepted on custom-made products (non-standard deck sizes or shapes).

The customer is responsible for arranging shipping the item(s) back to blokDEK® and all costs associated. If unable to make these arrangements, we may be able to assist and get freight quotes to facilitate this, which will be deducted from the total refund.

I am so happy I discovered this amazing company! As far as I know, I believe it is the only Canadian company that does pre-built platform decks. The quality is fantastic and I just loooove my new deck!I chose an 8x8 deck, so it came as two aluminium frames and 4 sets of deck boards. I did it all by myself and beside being fairly heavy (it is an aluminium frame with real cedar decking), it was really easy. My backyard has a slope and I was able to use the levelling feet to make it levelled. This is one of the best companies I have dealt with. I wanted an "L" shaped deck, and after ordering, I received a shop drawing to approve. The deck arrived as promised on 2 skids, well packed. The the instructions were clear, and I also recieved a drawing showing the layout of each part. It was a breeze to set out, but you have to take care to level the frame properly, as this is critical. The deck panels the just lay into place, and clip down as you stand on them. The deck looks fantastic. I would recommend BlokDek® to anyone, no hesitation.

​I honestly cannot say enough good things about blokDEK. Every step of the process exceeded my expectations.​The Sample Process & Ordering:Ordering samples was quick and easy. Unlike other companies that send a useless 2"x2" scrap, BlokDek sends decent-sized samples so you actually know what you’re getting. Because we had strict size limits at our campground, we ordered the exact dimensions we needed. The deck was on backorder (which wasn't an issue for me), but before it even shipped, Tannis reached out personally to confirm all of our information.​Going the Extra Mile on Shipping:The business day before delivery, I hadn't heard from the freight company. I reached out to Tannis, who was amazing—they immediately tracked down a direct phone number for me so I could confirm the delivery window.​The 2-Hour Setup (Seriously!):From the exact moment the delivery driver called to say he was 10 minutes away, to the moment I signed back into work, exactly 2 hours had passed. In that tight window, we:​Accepted the delivery (the pallet was packaged perfectly).​Unpacked everything.​Dug down the ground at one end to level it (we had to start under our camper stairs and dig down at the other end, which was opposite of the video's advice to start at the high point, but it still worked flawlessly).​Put the entire deck together and took a shower!​Quick tip: Definitely watch the instruction video beforehand and keep it handy during assembly.​The Verdict:Even our campground owner was incredibly impressed with both the quality and how quickly it all went together! The deck is super sturdy and we absolutely love it. One of my biggest worries was how it would handle the heat, as our site faces west with almost no shade. I am thrilled to report that while the deck gets warm, it never gets hot enough to burn the bottoms of your feet.​If you are on the fence about ordering a BlokDek, just do it. I bought my deck to place alongside my camper at my permanent site. Tannis and Craig provided outstanding customer service by answering all of my questions and helped coordinate the shipping and delivery of my deck to the campground. The deck was very easy to assemble. The frames are high quality anodized aluminum and the decking snaps onto the frames. Simply walking on the decking will attach it to the frames. Once everything was opened and unpacked, the time to assemble the deck was less than an hour.

Great deck for a travel trailer at a camp site. It was easy to put together, but you'll likely need some "footing". We used basic 4x8 pavers as the "foundation" for the feet. This resulted in a very solid feeling platform, and held up well over the winter freeze without any shifting or settling. Leveling the area to the height range of the "feet" was the biggest part of the job.

When I first learned about blokDek I thought it was an interesting idea, so I thought about it, mostly because I had gone through surgery for spinal stenosis 4 months before, and this system looked easier to assemble than building a traditional deck, which I had done many times before as I am 76 years old and built my own house when I was 27 years old. The patio was delivered about 10 days after purchasequicker than expected, since it was shipped from Canada to the US.It came on a good sized pallet with zero issues creating during package and delivery.The construction was rock solid and the materials seem really high quality. I had a slightly more complicated install since I had to dig out and level an area. Once that was done, putting the deck together and installing it was a breeze. Assembly was slightly different than the video, but it was really easy to figure out how to bolt the two sections together.I have zero regrets with my purchase.
