I chose an 8x8 deck, so it came as two aluminium frames and 4 sets of deck boards. I did it all by myself and beside being fairly heavy (it is an aluminium frame with real cedar decking), it was really easy. My backyard has a slope and I was able to use the levelling feet to make it levelled. Great quality, awesome customer service, I think I will be adding more sections to my new deck next year to make it even bigger!!!

This is one of the best companies I have dealt with. I wanted an "L" shaped deck, and after ordering, I received a shop drawing to approve. The deck arrived as promised on 2 skids, well packed. The the instructions were clear, and I also recieved a drawing showing the layout of each part. It was a breeze to set out, but you have to take care to level the frame properly, as this is critical. The deck panels the just lay into place, and clip down as you stand on them. The deck looks fantastic. I would recommend BlokDek® to anyone, no hesitation.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new blokDEK (12' x 20' Coastal Composite) deck. From our first conversation through to installation, the entire experience exceeded our expectations—the team was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and never pushy.

Ordering samples was quick and easy. Unlike other companies that send a useless 2"x2" scrap, BlokDek sends decent-sized samples so you actually know what you’re getting. Because we had strict size limits at our campground, we ordered the exact dimensions we needed. The deck was on backorder (which wasn't an issue for me), but before it even shipped, Tannis reached out personally to confirm all of our information.

​Going the Extra Mile on Shipping:
The business day before delivery, I hadn't heard from the freight company. I reached out to Tannis, who was amazing—they immediately tracked down a direct phone number for me so I could confirm the delivery window.

​The 2-Hour Setup (Seriously!):
From the exact moment the delivery driver called to say he was 10 minutes away, to the moment I signed back into work, exactly 2 hours had passed. In that tight window, we:
​Accepted the delivery (the pallet was packaged perfectly).

​Unpacked everything.
​Dug down the ground at one end to level it (we had to start under our camper stairs and dig down at the other end, which was opposite of the video's advice to start at the high point, but it still worked flawlessly).
​Put the entire deck together and took a shower!

​Quick tip: Definitely watch the instruction video beforehand and keep it handy during assembly.

​The Verdict:
Even our campground owner was incredibly impressed with both the quality and how quickly it all went together! The deck is super sturdy and we absolutely love it. One of my biggest worries was how it would handle the heat, as our site faces west with almost no shade. I am thrilled to report that while the deck gets warm, it never gets hot enough to burn the bottoms of your feet.

I bought my deck to place alongside my camper at my permanent site. Tannis and Craig provided outstanding customer service by answering all of my questions and helped coordinate the shipping and delivery of my deck to the campground. The deck was very easy to assemble. The frames are high quality anodized aluminum and the decking snaps onto the frames. Simply walking on the decking will attach it to the frames. Once everything was opened and unpacked, the time to assemble the deck was less than an hour.

blokDEK was fantastic to deal with. They were very responsive to questions, I was able to check out the factory in Edmonton and I could tell how much pride they take in their product. The post sales support was really great when I had questions, and the product was as easy to assemble as they said. This was exactly what we wanted for our sauna project.

Great deck for a travel trailer at a camp site. It was easy to put together, but you'll likely need some "footing". We used basic 4x8 pavers as the "foundation" for the feet. This resulted in a very solid feeling platform, and held up well over the winter freeze without any shifting or settling. Leveling the area to the height range of the "feet" was the biggest part of the job.

Blokdek (Tannis and her team) helped me obtain all the necessary materials for my project. They confirmed every measurement and made some suggestions to ensure everything turned out well, and the communication was excellent. They handled the delivery very professionally. I love our blokDEK system. The team has been super responsive to all questions throughout the ordering, shopping, and build process. Overall it was an easy build. We do move ours around for events and it's really easy to disassemble and reassemble.

This definitely was the fastest and best choice for the look we were looking for. I asked if I could get it before Thanksgiving, yes, we did. The process took longer to prepare the ground than putting the deck together. I had to lower the deck to match the concrete patio.

With a recent pool remodel, we were looking to redo our landscape. The goals: remove grass, save water, and have space that was dog "mess"-free with our 3 dogs. I purchased a 6'x8' deck to create a grilling are next to our full patio. The patio was delivered about 10 days after purchase...quicker than expected, since it was shipped from Canada to the US.

It came on a good sized pallet with zero issues creating during package and delivery.

The construction was rock solid and the materials seem really high quality. I had a slightly more complicated install since I had to dig out and level an area. Once that was done, putting the deck together and installing it was a breeze. Assembly was slightly different than the video, but it was really easy to figure out how to bolt the two sections together.

I have zero regrets with my purchase. In fact, we're considering installing another deck and gazebo on a different part of our property.

I am so pleased with the quality and look of my deck. My hubs and I got an 8' x 20' deck and we had it up and leveled in 2 hours. And I am still married! You have an amazing product. I'm very thankful that blokDEK came up when googleing "Decks". Where else is it possible to have new 10 x 8 deck leveled & build in a couple of hours. The base framing is very sturdy as is the decking. The leveling screws make it extremely easy to make sure your deck is level. It is an extremly well designed product. I was also impressed with how well it was packaged on the skid when delivered. It took a little longer than I had hope to get the deck, about 8 weeks but I ordered it when they were still waiting to get additional materials. The price is also on the high side but you get what you pay for and we got a 1st class product from a 1st class company. We are extremely happy with our new blokDEK deck.
