Step Dimensions:
• Single Step: 12" deep x 7" high
• Double Step: 24" deep x 13" high
• Triple Step: 36" deep x 19" high
• Each step tread is 12” deep with a 6” rise

Step Weight:
Weights are based on a 4’ length step; actual weight will vary based on step length
• Single Step: 25 lbs (aluminum frame)
• Double Step: 60 lbs (aluminum frame)
• Triple Step: 90 lbs (aluminum frame)
• Step Tread Weight: 10 lbs per cedar tread
Composite treads are heavier than cedar, and weights will vary depending on step length and material selection.

Step Height & Adjustability:
• Single step features a 7" rise, each step thereafter is a 6” rise
• Step height can be adjusted slightly using the built-in leveling feet
• Designed to align seamlessly with blokDEK® modular decks and landings

Frame Material:

Assembly

Step 1: Unpack and Prepare the Components
• Carefully remove the step board panels (treads) from the step frame and set them aside.
• Ensure all components are included in your package. In some cases, the frames may arrive pre-assembled for shipping efficiency.

Step 2: Position the Step Frame
• Place the step frame in your desired location.
• If placing the step on uneven ground, use the adjustable leveling feet provided to ensure stability.
• If placing the step on a deck or other flat surface, leveling feet may not be necessary.

Step 3: Assemble Multi-Step Configurations (Double & Triple Steps)
• For double and triple step models, each frame clicks into the frame below for a secure fit.
• To connect:
1. Align the step frames directly on top of each other.
2. Press down with approximately 50 pounds of force until you hear a click, indicating the frames are securely engaged.

Step 4: Connect Step Lighting (If Applicable)
• If your step includes integrated lighting, connect the light wiring before installing the treads.
• Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly routed.

Step 5: Install the Step Treads
• Once the frame is securely in place, reinstall the step treads onto the frame.
• Ensure each tread is properly seated and secured for safety and stability.

Shipping & Delivery

This product is shipped on a pallet via freight and will require a scheduled delivery time that is arranged between the carrier and the customer (you!). You are required to be present at the pre-arranged delivery time to sign for the delivery and move your package into your desired location. This delivery method is curbside drop-off.

Shipments should arrive wrapped, strapped, and in good condition. Customers should check the packing slip and condition of the package prior to signing off on it. If there are any discrepancies, they should be noted before accepting the shipment.

All shipping rate offers apply to online store only at pricing listed on website. blokDEK® offers shipping to residential or commercial street addresses anywhere within the 10 Canadian provinces (excludes territories) and 48 contiguous United States (every state in the US, except Alaska and Hawaii). For US customers, your purchase price includes duty, tariffs or brokerage fees for entry to the United States (our products are shipped as DDP / Delivered Duty Paid).

Returns and exchanges are accepted on blokDEK® standard products (products available for purchase through our website) in new or like new condition within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Returns and exchanges WILL NOT BE accepted on custom-made products (non-standard deck sizes or shapes).

The customer is responsible for arranging shipping the item(s) back to blokDEK® and all costs associated. If unable to make these arrangements, we may be able to assist and get freight quotes to facilitate this, which will be deducted from the total refund.

I am so happy I discovered this amazing company! As far as I know, I believe it is the only Canadian company that does pre-built platform decks. The quality is fantastic and I just loooove my new deck!I chose an 8x8 deck, so it came as two aluminium frames and 4 sets of deck boards. I did it all by myself and beside being fairly heavy (it is an aluminium frame with real cedar decking), it was really easy. My backyard has a slope and I was able to use the levelling feet to make it levelled. This is one of the best companies I have dealt with. I wanted an "L" shaped deck, and after ordering, I received a shop drawing to approve. The deck arrived as promised on 2 skids, well packed. The the instructions were clear, and I also recieved a drawing showing the layout of each part. It was a breeze to set out, but you have to take care to level the frame properly, as this is critical. The deck panels the just lay into place, and clip down as you stand on them. The deck looks fantastic. I would recommend BlokDek® to anyone, no hesitation.

​I honestly cannot say enough good things about BlokDek. Every step of the process exceeded my expectations.​The Sample Process & Ordering:Ordering samples was quick and easy. Unlike other companies that send a useless 2"x2" scrap, BlokDek sends decent-sized samples so you actually know what you’re getting. Because we had strict size limits at our campground, we ordered the exact dimensions we needed. The deck was on backorder (which wasn't an issue for me), but before it even shipped, Tannis reached out personally to confirm all of our information.​Going the Extra Mile on Shipping:The business day before delivery, I hadn't heard from the freight company. I reached out to Tannis, who was amazing—they immediately tracked down a direct phone number for me so I could confirm the delivery window.​The 2-Hour Setup (Seriously!):From the exact moment the delivery driver called to say he was 10 minutes away, to the moment I signed back into work, exactly 2 hours had passed. In that tight window, we:​Accepted the delivery (the pallet was packaged perfectly).​Unpacked everything.​Dug down the ground at one end to level it (we had to start under our camper stairs and dig down at the other end, which was opposite of the video's advice to start at the high point, but it still worked flawlessly).​Put the entire deck together and took a shower!​Quick tip: Definitely watch the instruction video beforehand and keep it handy during assembly.​The Verdict:Even our campground owner was incredibly impressed with both the quality and how quickly it all went together! The deck is super sturdy and we absolutely love it. One of my biggest worries was how it would handle the heat, as our site faces west with almost no shade. I am thrilled to report that while the deck gets warm, it never gets hot enough to burn the bottoms of your feet.​If you are on the fence about ordering a BlokDek, just do it.
